Each morning, we indulged in a sumptuous buffet breakfast featuring a dazzling array of fresh breads, pastries, and savory options—perfect fuel for adventure seekers like myself and my companions. Situated mere minutes from the city center, we enjoyed the charm of Rochefort, soaking in the local atmosphere, especially at the lively Rochefort Market. The surrounding wooden fishermen's huts and stunning landscapes of Charente-Maritime felt like a slice of paradise. Hotel Caravelle not only offered us a cozy place to rest but also a strategic base to discover the rich history and heritage of this extraordinary region. A highly recommended stay for anyone looking to blend relaxation with exploration!
